Military Service Pensions
We have been sent some information regarding the above topic indicating that personnel who served before 1975 could now be eligible for a service pension originally denied. It would appear that forces pay was suppressed by an undisclosed amount for the whole period of service - a reduction in the daily pay rate - to pay towards a pension (Info from Saga Magazine October 2007).

The Armed Forces Pension Group are actively seeking a change with a recently presented petition to Downing Street and are seeking an Early Day Motion No.102.
