For the information of all those affected by reviews of injury awards
If you can justify a challenge to any review which has taken place since 2006 or is yet to take place please ensure that you write to North Yorkshire Police in relation to your award pointing out that "in relation to my qualifying condition there has been no substantial alteration in my medical condition and therefore whilst I do not wish to be obstructive I wish to make clear that in line with the cases of Pollard, Turner and Laws together with the Police Injury Benefits Regulations 2006 and the Pensions Ombudsman case of Ayre I would seek clarity from North Yorkshire Police on what substantial alteration they rely to review and potentially revise my award.". Please keep a copy of this letter and any response.
