Review of Pay and Conditions

Dear Colleagues
The submissions currently received in response to the Review of Police Remuneration and Conditions, of which there are 28, have now been made available on the Review Website @www.review.police.uk. This link currently takes you to the Home Office Website, which I am assured is a mistake that will be rectified early this week when it will be linked directly to the Review Website.
I therefore forward for your early information and consideration, the submissions of ACPO, the APA and the NPIA. The Home Office has yet to submit a response.
This is a fast moving piece of work and whilst there is no timescale for submitting further responses, I was informed by Tom Winsor last week that with the publication of his report expected by the middle of February next year, the earlier any further responses are received the more time there would be for him to consider them. I would therefore hope to provide such a PFEW response, if not by the end of November, within the first couple of weeks of December.
The JCC Pay and Conditions Working Group are due to meet on Wednesday at the conclusion of the Joint Meeting with PFNI & SPF to consider a further PFEW submission in light of the responses to the Review from other stakeholders and have a number of further meetings scheduled.
Please bring any comments you may have to the attention of your regional rank representative at the earliest opportunity for them to be brought to the attention of the rank representatives on the JCC Working Group.
