Biker killed in two-car crash in Nursted is named
A motorcyclist killed in a crash involving two cars on the Hampshire-West Sussex border has been identified. Police said Andrew Dart, 39, of The Strand, Goring, died at the scene of the crash on the B2146 at Nursted shortly after 1000 BST on Friday. He was with a group of motorcyclists when it appeared he lost control of his bike and collided with the cars. Both drivers, a 42-year-old and and a 78-year-old man, both from Petersfield, were unhurt but were treated for shock. The road had to be closed after the accident to allow police investigations to take place and for repairs to the carriageway, which was damaged by spilt fuel.
