Working with you the members to represent your views

With reform at a local and national level affecting each and everyone of us we want to ensure we continue to represent your views. So we though it important to remind you of the ways we will be keeping you involved throughout 2011:

1. Via your directorate representatives who will be fully engaged with you;
2. Via regular updates on our website www.nypolfed.org.uk;
3. Via our Facebook page: North Yorkshire Police Federation;

5. Via our monthly e-newsletter sent automatically to those who subscribe via our website;
6. Through Federation Express of our magazine, the latest edition is out now and there will be 3 further magazines this year;
7. By attending the annual Open Meeting to have your say and pose questions to the Chief Constable, the chair of the Police Authority and also local and national Federation officials – this year the meeting is on Thursday 29th September 2011 @ The Park Inn, York – speak to your directorate federation reps for more details.

We are also planning to visit every police station in the county to listen to your views and explain the Federation response to Winsor and Hutton and Neyroud which we need to ensure takes into account the views of you our members and to ask you to support the campaign for a Royal Commission for Policing by lobbying your MP.
