Changes to Shifts from 9th February 2009
For background information on changes sought by North Yorkshire Police, our ballots and the negotiations click here.
We have now reached agreement and the details of those agreements and the shifts can be found below:
But we need your help to tell us what you think should be the criteria included in the 6 monthly and then annual reviews.
We believe the evaluation criteria should include:
- User satisfaction survey;
- Whether overtime has increased / decreased;
- Whether the safe staffing level set by each area / department has consistently been met;
- Impact upon the number of officers injured on duty;
- Impact upon short term sickness levels;
- Impact upon long term sickness levels;
- Impact on force performance;
- The number of times Working Time Regulations are breached in terms of length of hours;
- The number of times rest days are cancelled or re-rostered;
- The number of deviations;
- The amount of times training days are cancelled or re-rostered;
- The amount of health assessments conducted for night workers;
- Measuring both what is proposed to be worked and actually worked against the HSE Fatigue Index;
- The effect of the Diversity Impact Assessment including the number of Flexible Working applications received / granted / rejected.
