NORTH YORKSHIRE JOINT BRANCH BOARD
We are one of the 43 Joint Branch Board (JBBs) to be found in each of the police forces in England and Wales. The Joint Branch Board represents three constituent parts, elected by the Constables, Sergeants and Inspectors (including Chief Inspectors). These are known as the Constables', Sergeants' and Inspectors' Branch Boards. They meet regularly to consider subjects affecting their ranks. However, most of their work is done together, when they meet as the JBB.
Elections to the Joint Branch Board are held every three years for all departments within the force.
